- The Naval Air Warfare Center Weapons Division, China Lake, CA intends to procure on a full and open competition basis the following:1) Optical Comparator, Manufacturer Starrett, Model Number HF750-5215CNC with accessories and Quadra-Chek 5215 software (Quantity - 1 each). This requirement is a Manufacturer sole source due to equipment must be compatible with other shop attachments, precision measurement equipment currently being used and modeling software. The Government requirement will be posted in the Solicitation on or about 28 Oct 2008. Any firms believing that they can provide the material may submit a written response to be received at the Contracting Office no later than 5 days after the date of publication of this notice, clearly showing its ability to do so without compromising the quality, accuracy, and reliability of the data or without causing programmatic hardship to the program.
