- Description
- The Syracuse VA Medical Center has a need for shuttle transportation services between its location at 800 Irving Ave, Syracuse NY and 1300 S. Salina St Syracuse NY. Parking lot is a distance of less than 2 miles one way. The shuttle will need to operate approximately every 17 minutes from 5:30 am to 8:40 am (12 trips) and again from 3:10 PM to 5:10 PM.(6 trips). The capacity for the shuttle will need to be for at least 40 people and the vehicle itself will be required to comply with all federal and state regulations for safety and environmental emissions as well as handicap accessible. All drivers must have proper commercial licensing, have a clean drivers license and the vendor will need to provide adequate insurance. This service falls under the Service Contract Act and Wage Determination 2005-2383 (Rev 7), dated 08/01/2008 applies. The formal solicitation for this announcement is expected to be published in the early November. This is a total small business set aside.
