- This solicitation is for a performance-based procurement utilizing commercial item acquisition procedures for the purpose of providing Janitorial and Mechanical Maintenance services at the following ten locations: Beecher Falls Border Station, Canaan Border Station, Norton Border Station, Beebe Plain Border Station, Derby Line 91 Border Station, Derby Line 5 Border Station, North Troy (new) Border Station, Richford Border Station, E. Richford Border Station, W. Berkshire Border Station, VT. This procurement is 100% HUBZone Small Business Set Aside. The NAICS code is 561720 and the size standard is $16.5 Million. Services provided to include all building mechanical, electrical and utility apparatus installed at the site and systems to be operated, maintained and/or repaired as well as janitorial services to be performed under this contract. The effort includes all services identified in the solicitation as well as requirements for snow plowing and removal, grounds maintenance etc. This procurement will be a twelve month contract with four (4) one year options. A pre-proposal conference will be held on or about November 17th and 18th, 2008 which will include a site visit at each Border Station. Proposal due date will be on or about December 17, 2008. Period of Performance will start March 1, 2009. The solicitation will be available to download via this website only for the release of the RFP and any associated documents, e.g. amendments, notices. Register on this website to receive notification of all documents uploaded. No questions on the procurement will be entertained until the RFP is published.
