- Description
- The United States Air Force requires the Personal Services of Dentist, Dental Assistants and Dental Hygienist to perform dental services to eligible beneficiaries of the military health care system at various CONUS medical treatment facilities (MTF) and dental treatment facilities (DTF). The current requirement calls for 68 dentist at 40 locations, 86 dental assistants at 32 locations and 2 hygienist at 2 locations. The work performed shall be in accordance with the professional standards of the MTF or DTF where the services are to be performed. The proposed acquisition is a 100 percent small business set-aside under NAICS code 621210 with a size standard of 6.5M. The contract will be for a 1-year base period and four 1-year options through 30 September 2014. The solicitation is expected to be released on or about 1 January 2009.
