- NSN 1560-01-257-7115, PR 0016706381. Item: Support, Structural Component, Aircraft, Canopy in accordance with San Antonio Air Logistics Center., CAGE 98750, part number 8622311-20. The only approved sources for this item in regards to the specifications, plans or drawings relating to the procurement are: Milling Precision Tool Corp (Cage 16535), Rohr Inc (Cage 51563), A R Machine Inc (Cage 59784) or San Antonio Air Logistics Center (Cage 98750). DSCR does not currently have an approved technical data package for this item, nor can the information be furnished by the government. This procurement is suitable for competitive acquisition, however requires engineering source approval by the design control activity. Any manufacturer, other than Milling Precision Tool Corp (Cage 16535), Rohr Inc (Cage 51563), A R Machine Inc (Cage 59784) or San Antonio Air Logistics Center (Cage 98750), wishing to submit a proposal on this item must submit a complete source approval request (SAR) information may be found via http://www.dscr.dla.mil/sarguide.doc. This solicitation will result in a Firm Fixed Price contract for 16 each. This item is subject to Critical Safety Item, Critical Application Item, Configuration Control, 100% Small Business Set-Aside, and Export Control. Government First Article Testing applies to this procurement. The First Article is due 115 days from date of award. Production line item delivery is 115 days after first article acceptance. FOB is Destination; Inspection and Acceptance is Origin. Delivery for this procurement will be STOCK. Automated Best Value System (ABVS) applies: the final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. This request is for a written quote. Please submit offers in writing. The solicitation issue date will be November 13, 2008 with a closing date of December 15, 2008. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP.
