- This is a notice of intent to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to Boeing Company for the following: Cable replacement and calibaration of Low Observable Verification Equipment (LOVE) tools for the B2 in FY 2009 at Whiteman Air Force base, 65305. This acquisition will be accomplished using commercial item procedures in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 12 and in accordance with FAR 6.302-1 for Other Than Full & Open Competition. A determination not to compete this proposed procurement based on response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. The anticipated date of award is 30 October 2008. Please reference the purchase request number FA4625-09-Q-0001 on all inquiries and comments. The following provisions and clauses apply to this acquisition most recent to FAC 2005-26, DCN 20080812, and AFAC 2008-0605: FAR 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items. Quotes will be evaluated and awarded to the offeror with the lowest price technically acceptable. The provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications -- Commercial Items, and the offeror must include a completed copy of this provision with their proposal. The clause at FAR 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items; FAR 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items, DFAR 252.232-7007 Limitation of Government Obligation, FAR 5352.201-9101 Ombudsman.
