- Description
- The Veterans Administration is seeking to award a single contract for Mold Remediation services on Patient Records at the Marion Veterans Medical Center (VAMC) 2401 West Main Street Marion Il 62959. The Contractor shall be provide certified Mold Remediation services on Patient Records to: assure quality; adherence to the specification; resolve problems; prevent the spread of contamination beyond the regulated area; and assure adherence to the SOW at the end of the project. In addition, the work includes drying and removing mold and mold spores from contaminated patient medical records in Building 13 of the Marion VAMC, in accordance with all OSHA, Environmental Protection Agency, State of Illinois Department of Health and all other regulatory and oversight agency regulations. The Contractor shall furnish all labor, material, tools, equipments and supervision necessary to perform the task in accordance to the attached scope of work of the solicitation. The Contractor shall plan, schedule, coordinate, and ensure effective and economical completion of all work and services specified in this contract. The majority of work will be accomplished during normal working hours. Normal working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday thru Friday after normal working hours. Interested offerors should attend this meeting to inspect the work site and obtain information on the project before submitting a proposal. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 541620. The Standard Industrial Classification is 8741. The small business size standard is $6.5 Million.SITE VISIT: Offerors or quoters are urged and expected to inspect the site where services are to be performed and to satisfy themselves regarding all general and local conditions that may affect the cost of contract performance, to the extent that the information is reasonably obtainable. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award.
