- Description
- The VA VISN 22 Network 22 Logistics Office, Long Beach, California hereby gives its notice of intent to negotiate and award a sole source contract to Siemens Building Technologies, Inc. Cypress, California. This proposed action is for the HVAC equipment and Siemens Apogee Building Automation System preventive and intervening maintenance service for VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System. This procurement is being conducted in accordance with FAR 6.302-1-only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Companies that believe they can meet the requirements must submit proof to the Contracting Officer not later than November 12, 2008, 4:00 pm Pacific Standard time to be considered. All information shall be at no cost or obligation to the Government. Information received shall be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. No solicitation document other than this exists and no telephone inquiries shall be accepted.
