- Description
- The Dahlgren Division, Naval Surface Warfare Center (NSWCDD), intends to award a sole source contract to Innov-X Systems, Inc., 100 Sylvan Road, Suite 500, Woburn, MA 01801-1721 for one Alloy Analyzer with Analytical and SmartBeam Low Z Module, soil analysis package, hands free test stand, Light Element Analysis program, AC adapter, Empirical package, air filter upgrade kit, PC based Control, Analysis, and Management Software, and holster. Innov-X Systems is the sole manufacturer of this specific equipment which allows field analysis of soil samples and non destructive testing of metal alloys and other materials used in military equipment insuring rapid and accurate data collection with minimal disruption to normal operations and no requirement for destructive sampling or expensive relocation of intact military hardware to an analysis lab. Award is to be made under simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13 as a Firm Fixed Price purchase order. The ! North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 334516 and the small business size standard is 500 employees. THIS ANNOUNCEMENT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY REQUEST FOR QUOTATION, AS ALL ITEMS ARE SPECIFIED UNDER THIS NOTICE AND A WRITTEN SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE ISSUED. In order to be eligible for award firms must be registered in the Central Contractor Registry (CCR). Vendors may obtain information on registration in the CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423, or via the Internet at http://www.ccr.gov. Please note that defense payment offices may not make payment unless the contra! ctor is established to receive electronic funds transfer (EFT).
