- Description
- This is a Market Survey to locate potential sources for the manufacturing of the C-6533A-ARC CSC, PN 653302 and NSN 5895-01-491-9407. The C-6533A-ARC is a re-engineered drop-in Form, Fit and Function (F3) replacement for the C-6533-ARC installed in the UH-60A-L and CH-47D helicopters. The current source for this system is American Competitiveness Institute (ACI), Cage Code 1BXD9. The Government intends to award a 5 year indefinite delivery indefinite quantity (IDIQ) contract for a total quantity of about 12,000 units over the five year period. The Government is interested in any other suppliers who can deliver at a monthly rate of 200 units. Detailed technical data for the manufacture and acceptance of this unit is not available from the Army. Requirements for consideration for this contractual effort are as follows. Sources must obtain Air Worthiness Release (AWR) Certification approval per Army Regulation 72-60 by the approval authority of AMCOM Aviation Engineering Directorate (AED), AMSRD-AMR-AE, Bldg 4488 2nd Floor, Redstone Arsenal, Alabama 35898-5000 and ultimately receive AMCOM AED full Air Worthiness Release Certification for the C-6533A. Suppliers capable of manufacturing and delivering these items as specified above must so indicate, by writing to Commander, US Army CECOM LCMC, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-CCS-N-AA, Building 1200E, Fort Monmouth, NJ 07703-5043. This Market Survey does not obligate the Government to award a contract nor does it guarantee any future contract.
