- Magnitude of the requirement in terms of: Physical Characteristics; The Architect of the Capitol has a requirement (HVAC CONTROL CONTRACTORS ONLY; NO GENERAL CONTRACTORS) for Building Envelope and Thermal Analysis for the Ford House Office Building. The scope of the project encompasses the replacement of the controllers on the existing VAV terminal boxes and the addition of thermostats as required for the air distribution systems serving the first floor thru and including the 6th floor of the Ford House Office Building. Following installation of the controllers, the minimum-maximum CFM adjustment will be made and field checked to verify that the box responds to the thermostat commands. Air balancing will be included for the linear diffusers associated with each VAV box. Estimated Price Range; Between $500,000.00 and $1,000,000.00 NOTE:THE SOLICITATION WILL BE POSTED ON THE FOLLOWING WEBSITE: http://www.aoc.gov/business/procure-opps.cfm on or by November 08, 2008.
