- Project 632-07ES-102, Renovate Building 92 HVAC System Description:This notice is for project, "632-07ES-102, Renovate Building 92 HVAC System Description," at Northport VA Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. This shall be a Service Disabled Small Business Set-Aside (SDVOSB). As a result, all SDVOSB's may submit a bid, which shall be considered by the agency. The project falls under NAICS Code 238220, and has a Small Business Standard of 14 Million. The estimated price range for this project is $1,000,000 to $2,000,000, respectively. The scope of work is the following: Contractor shall supply all labor, tools, materials, equipment, supplies and supervision to perform all work for Renovation of Building Number 92 HVAC System. Work to include but not be limited to replacing existing radiant ceiling panels with fan coil units, cleaning and rebalancing of existing HVAC air distribution system, replacing 2x4 ceiling grid and tiles with 2x2 suspended ceiling system and replacing 2x4 lighting fixtures within the resident rooms. All work to be done at the Department of Veterans Affairs Medical Center, 79 Middleville Road, Northport, New York 11768.All work shall be in full accordance with drawings and specifications. Completion Time: 365 Calendar Days. Other details/information is in the solicitation which shall be posted on www.fbo.gov The anticipated release date of the IFB is October 28, 2008 and the anticipated closing date is December 3, 2008. The bid submittal address and time is included in the solicitation. This project requires bonding. Bid submissions shall be in hardcopies and not e-mailed or faxed. All bidders shall be registered and verified in the www.ccr.gov and www.vetbiz.gov and www.orca.bpn.gov A Pre-Bid Conference shall be held on November 13, 2008 at Northport VA Medical Center, 76 Middleville Road, Northport, NY 11768. Offerors/contractors are urged to inspect the site where the work will be performed. Award is subject to availability of funding.
