- Description
- The Naval Surface Warfare Center, Dahlgren Division, will be requesting proposals under full and open competition for two high-powered UHF magnetrons and two weeks of on-site support with options for eight additional magnetrons and three weeks of on-site support. A Best Value source selection is planned. Evaluation factors are technical capability, past performance and price. A Secret facility clearance is required. A firm fixed price contract will be awarded and delivery is 12 months after contract award or option exercise. Government acceptance testing and warranty requirements will be identified in the solicitation. Solicitation number is N00178-09-R-3003. It is anticipated that the solicitation will be issued 24 November 2008 with a closing date of 8 January 2009. Award is anticipated in February 2009.
