Description
The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Europe District, is seeking expressions of interest from firms who are interested in proposing on a Firm-Fixed Price, Indefinite Delivery / Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ), Job Order Contract (JOC) type of contract to acquire real property repair, maintenance, minor construction, and/or asbestos abatement. The orders will primarily address general building renovation, road and pavement repair, and general environmental work including, but not limited to, incidental minor construction, excavation, plumbing, demolition, electrical, structural, mechanical, concrete work, force protection projects, and environmental remedial work. Each project task order awarded under a Job Order Contract is normally comprised of a number of pre-described and pre-packed tasks as described in each Task Order and the Unit Price Book. This solicitation will be used to award one (1) IDIQ JOC contract. The award will be made on Best Value to the Government, based on price and other factors considered. The contract is for U.S. Forces facilities geographically located primarily under the jurisdiction of and administered by the U.S. Army Garrison (USAG) Ansbach; USAG Bamberg, USAG Benelux; USAG Grafenwoehr; USAG Heidelberg; USAG Schweinfurt; USAG Stuttgart; USAG Wiesbaden, Germany; Belgium and the Netherlands. The contract will consist of one (1) base year IDIQ contract. The estimated value of all work awarded under the contract is $14,985,000.00 for the base period and total life of the contract. All documents pertaining to this solicitation will be issued free of charge by downloading them electronically from a designated Government site. This site will be provided to all interested offerors at a later date. Paper copies of this solicitation, plans, and specifications will not be provided. It is the offeror's responsibility to ensure they have received any subsequent amendments, if any. Prospective offerors must be able to obtain a Bank Letter of Assurance in order to be considered for award. All qualified and responsible offerors may submit a proposal and will be considered for award. Offerors shall determine whether performance requires registration with German authorities or authorization to do business in Germany and if so, shall comply with all requirements. The offerors mailing address, telephone number, facsimile number, e-mail address, and an English speaking point of contact MUST be provided to facilitate delivery notification of posted solicitation, to include any amendments to interested firms. Requests that do not have complete information will not be considered. No reimbursement will be made for any costs associated with providing information in response to this announcement or any follow-up information provided.
