- The solicitation due date has been changed to 21 Nov 08, 4:30PM Eastern Time. Due to the fact that Tuesday (Nov 4) is Election Day, the site visit and pre-solicitation conference has been changed from 4 November to Wednesday, 5 November 2008. Both the Air Force Base and the Naval Weapons Station will now be covered on the same day (5 November 2008). All contractors shall meet the Charleston AFB escort at the Air Force Base front gate located on Dorchester Road, Charleston AFB, SC NO LATER THAN 0730AM. All prospective Offerors are urged to attend this conference and are requested to contact Libby Billham, Contract Specialist, at (843) 963-5182, FAX number (843)963-5183, email address is libby.billham@charleston.af.mil at least three (3) days prior to the conference date if they plan to attend. Special arrangements will be required to gain access to both the Charleston AFB and the Charleston Naval Weapons Station. Refer to solicitation cover sheet attachment paragraph 5a, 5b, and 5c for details. All contractors will be escorted to the Base Contracting Office for the Pre-Performance Conference to begin at 8:30AM. A tour of the Air Force facilities locations will be conducted in the morning. The Naval Weapons Station site visit will be conducted in the afternoon. The solicitation cover sheet, the solicitation (which includes the PWS and Performance Plan), Appendices A & B and Proposal Pricelists A & B are attached.
