- Description
- This notice is being issued to provide additional information regarding the planned Solicitation Conference. The conference remains scheduled for Thursday, 6 November 2008; and all questions regarding this acquisition are requested to be submitted by 29 October 2008. A maximum of two representatives from each organization (not offeror) may attend. All attendess must be registered for access to the Rock Island Arsenal and present a photo ID for entrance. In addition, the following information for each requested attendee must be submitted to the following email addresses: rachel.phelps@us.army.mil and joann.theodore@us.army.mil. US citizens: Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, and Contractor Name **Non-US citizens: Last Name, First Name, Middle Initial, Contractor Name, Country Visiting From, Date of Birth, and one of the following - Passport Number, Visa Number, or Alien Registration Number (Identify the ID Type and Number in your request). All required information for the requested attendees must be submitted no later than 4 November 2008, with the exception for Non-US Citizens as stated below. **Registration information for Non-US Citizens must be submitted to the POCs identified no later than Wednesday, 29 October 2008. Any additional requirements for foreign attendees such as visit notification through their embassy shall be accomplished by that attendee or organization. The following topics are expected to be addressed during the conference: Government responses to solicitation questions received prior to the conference, design safety briefing/guidance, and Government responses to additional solicitation questions submitted in writing the day of the conference. All information presented at the conference will later be published with the solicitation. Please note that NO one-on-one or side bar meetings will be held between the Government and Individual Companies.
