- Under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, the U.S. Army RDECOM Contracting Center, Natick Contracting Division, Kansas Street, Natick, MA on behalf of the United States Army Soldier System Center, Natick, MA intends to negotiate and award a contract to Battelle Memorial Institute, 505 King Avenue, Columbus, Ohio. This is for the purchase of services pertaining to the lease of a warehouse facility and warehousing and logistical services for the US Armys Energy Dissipating Pad. The intent of issuing a contract on a sole source basis is to allow the Government to issue a six-month bridge contract to allow for continuity of services currently being performed until the Government can solicit for a new contract on a competitive basis that will replace this current bridge contract. This will allow the Government the necessary time to adequately procure these services.
