Description
This is a SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY. Responses to this notice will be used for information and planning purposes. No formal solicitation document exists at this time. This notice shall not be construed as a solicitation or as an obligation on the part of the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). If a solicitation is issued it will be announced at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to that solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement. Responses to this sources sought is not a request to be added to a prospective bidders list or to receive a copy of the solicitation. The Coatesville VA Medical Center is seeking sources to provide the management of a Community Residential Care (CRC) Program on the grounds of the Medical Center in Coatesville, PA. The primary goal of the CRC is to develop alternative housing for those veterans who have achieved sufficient stability for community placement, but require higher levels of supervision in order to maintain such independent living. The Coatesville VAMC will enter into an agreement with the Provider given their experience and proven record of successfully working with psychiatrically and medically disabled residents in community settings. It is the ultimate goal that these veterans will eventually find their way to housing located within the community. To this end, the Provider must demonstrate ongoing capacity and resources to work with this population within a community setting. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability by submitting literature detailing their experience and resources. Interested parties must be registered at www.ccr.gov. Responses shall be mailed to: Carol L. Pomraning, Contract Specialist (90C), Coatesville VAMC, 1400 Black Horse Hill Road, Coatesville, PA 19320 or sent electronically to carol.pomraning@va.gov. Fascimile responses will not be accepted. Responses must be received no later than November 5, 2008. Additional information or questions can also be sent electronically to Mrs. Pomraning.
