Description
The Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) seeks to obtain market research information from sources capable of fully satisfying the specific agency requirements identified herein that may be procured in the near future. This market research is for informational purposes only and should not be construed as a commitment of any kind. Any information received, in whole or in part, may be used to create the resulting acquisition strategy for the proposed requirements. Responders will not be reimbursed for any information received and are encouraged not to provide proprietary data or business sensitive information as any information received may be used by the Government and/or released to the public. The Government is primarily focused on seeking suitable commercial and non-developmental items or commercial items that can be easily modified to meet existing Government requirements. Information on capable sources is sought for the following requirement: The Wargaming Div! ision of the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory (MCWL) conducts the Expeditionary Warrior, Emerald Express, and Joint Urban Warrior events annually to examine exercise concepts, capture insights, and observations from United States, allied warfighters, and policymakers. In Fiscal year (FY08) the Wargaming Division experimented with a new digital media platform to create products from these events that would reach a wider audience and have a greater impact. Following on the success of the FY08 digital medial product line, the Wargaming Division plans to develop another set of professional digital medial products to extend the reach of the analysis brought together by the joint and allied warfighting and policymaking community. These video products are expected to be created on the same production standards as the FY08 "New Challenges for Military Operations: Emerald Express Insights and Observations from Operation Iraqi Freedom Video. The purpose of this project is to! create a suite of video products in support of Joint Urban Warrior 2009 (JUW09), Expeditionary Warrior 2009 and Emerald Express 2009 events conducted by the Wargaming Division of the MCWL. The first product will be a video in a DVD format that examines the principal topics and concepts discussed and gamed at the JUW09. The first chapter of the video will be produced in advance of JUW09 to kick off the JUW09 event. Subsequent chapters will be prepared from the JUW07 event and related materials. The second product will be in support of the Expeditionary Warrior and Emerald Express events. Wargaming proposes to conduct videotape interviews with participants, as well as document key presentations and roundtable discussions. The contractor shall provide a conference facility which has a current Secret Classified Certification, to include Thirteen (13) Meeting Rooms and 16 Breakout Rooms from 30 January 2009 to 6 February 2009. Provide a Plenary conference room, provide a staff administration and provide two (2) terminal hookups with Inter! net Access in Administration meeting room and provide a Fifty (50) internet port connections with cable and power strips throughout the gaming space for Game LAN for game execution. Provide eleven (11) meetings rooms and twelve (12) breakout rooms from 20 April 2009 to 24 April 2009. Sources capable of fully satisfying the above requirements should submit capability statements/expressions of interest providing the Government the necessary information to determine actual capability. At a minimum, this information should include: 1) identification of your company or organization, 2) your company's or organization's assertion of existing, full capability to meet proposed requirements, 3) business/contracts/marketing office point(s) of contact information, 4) notification of business size and/or special status and 5) any additional information that may be useful to the successful procurement of the requirements, if solicited. These expressions of interest shall adhere to a tw! o (2) page submission limit, plus commercial marketing info or web links and all should be submitted via email to delzoria.hawkins@usmc.mil referencing the following tracking #M6785409Q0004. Vendors should contact Contract Specialist via email at Delzoria.Hawkins@usmc.mil. These should be submitted on or before November 3 2008 before 3:00 P.M. EST This market research announcement should not be considered a commitment of any kind by the Government and individual correspondence should not be expected in advance of any resulting pre-solicitation notice for the proposed requirements.
