Description
The U.S. Geological Survey, Central Energy Team has a requirement for two (2) and three (3) dimensional digital multichannel seismic reflection and/or digital well log data from various areas of the United States for the period March 2009 through March 2010 with 4 years options for data through 2014. This Request for Proposal (RFP) for two and three dimensional multichannel seismic reflection data must have been acquired and processed using the following minimum standards: a. Energy Source: Dynamite and/or Vibroseis, b. Record length: 1 second or more, c. Sample Rate:.5 milliseconds or more, but not more than 4 milliseconds, d. Number of Recording Channels: 24 or more. The USGS shall have complete unrestricted rights to publish derivative products which have been produced using the data without prior permission from the contractor. RFP responses will be accepted in hard copy only. No electronic responses, such as email or fax, will be accepted. All proprietary and restricted information provided in response to this RFP should be clearly marked. Responses should indicate if the vendor is considered a large or small business under NACIS code 519190. Please ensure you have included your email address, mailing address, and telephone number in the body of the response. This requirement is pursant to procedures found in Part 12 and Part 13 of the Federal Acquistion Regulations, The RFP (09CRSS0004) will be available on or about November 21, 2008, and can be found at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. No telephone or written requests will be accepted. The RFP will close December 4, 2008, only written responses to this RFP will be accepted. Three (3) originals will be required. This requirement is open to both large and small businesses. The NACIS code is 541360. The Government may award more than one contract under this notice. The performance period of this requirement shall be for a 12-month base year, plus 4 one-year renewal option years.
