- DESCRIPTION: This is a Sources Sought Notice. Reply to the Contracting Officer if you can provide the services below. Service Contract will be from date of award through 9/30/09 with 4 one year renewal options for a maintenance agreement to cover Xcelera System Equipment quality performance assurance service as scheduled by Vender to include a general system inspection and review of system operation, calibrating the system as necessary, system lubrication and filter replacement or cleaning, completing minor operation, and reliability field engineering change notices or updates and other remedial maintenance of a non-emergency nature. Vender will provide such planned maintenance during the Service Coverage hours at a time that is mutually agreed upon; and repair service, due to equipment malfunction, as required. Repair service includes the cost of Vender replacement parts as required on an exchange (refurbished) or new part basis and labor to install Vender replacement parts. Replaced parts become Vender's property and will be promptly removed by Vender from the Equipment Site (With the exception of hard drives that contain patient information, this device will remain with the VA Hospital).The service contract shall include the following: Two P.M. inspections per year, 24-hour emergency service, Equipment identification tags, All labor (between normal business hours 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday - Friday) All parts, All travel, All shipping. Unit shall pass inspection before contract is valid
