- PROJECT DESCRIPTION The purpose of this contract is to secure services to construct approximately 22,367 feet of 3 strand barbed wire fence to manage the movement of livestock on the Black Hills National Forest. The contractor shall furnish all tools, equipment, materials, supplies, labor, supervision, workman’s compensation, unemployment insurance, and transportation necessary to accomplish the work in a safe manner. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE: Between $25,000 and $100,000. SOLICITATION DOCUMENTS: The solicitation, AG-82X9-S-09-0005, and related documents will be issued via FedBizOpps as a Request For Quotes (RFQ) and will be available for downloading on or about October 24, 2008 at the website address http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. NAICIS is 238990. Contractors may attend one of the two Pre-Quote Meeting/Site visits, which are scheduled for November 12th or 19th 2008, 10:00 AM MT at 1019 N 5th Street Custer SD, Forest Service Supervisors Office,. All vendors are required to be registered in the Central Contractor Registration database (CCR) prior to award of a Federal contract. Registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.ccr.gov/. A handbook and other information are available at the site, including information on how to obtain a DUNS number, which is required to begin the registration process. Vendors are required to register at the Online Representations and Certifications website (ORCA); registration may be completed on the internet at http://www.bpn.gov.
