- 17. Notice of intent to award a sole source purchase order. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation, Part 6, subpart 6.302-1, the REDCOM Acquisition Center, Pine Bluff Contracting Division intends to contract with Welsco, Inc., 9006 Crystal Hill Road, North Little Rock, AR 72113-6693 on a sole source basis Nitrogen, Liquid, Industrial Grade, 550,000 Cubic Feet per month and a storage system for nitrogen to include the Ambient Gas Vaporizer and the Liquid Product Storage tank for a base year and four option years. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition would be advantageous to the government. In doing so, interested sources must submit technical capabilities, pricing and other information that demonstrates their ability to meet the governments needs. Detailed capabilities must be submitted to REDCOM Acquisition Center, 10-020 Kabrich Circle, Bldg 17-120 ARSRD-ACC-P, Attn: Richard E. Maxwell, Pine Bluff, AR 71602-9500. This synopsis is not to be considered a request for quotations or proposals. No solicitation document is available and telephone request will not be honored. No contract will be awarded on the basis of offers received in response to this notice but offers will be used to determine if a comparable source is available and more advantageous to the government. If no affirmative written response is received within 15 days from the publication of this synopsis, a purchase order may be issued to Welsco, Inc. without further notice.
