Nome/Drawing number: MJU-32A/B Decoy Flare, IAW ADL 30003-3904AS100B001 and all Associated Drawings & Specifications; MJU-38A/B Decoy Flare, IAW ADL 30003-3905AS100A001 and all Associated Drawings & Specifications. The MJU-32A/B & MJU-38A/B provide aircraft with expendable countermeasures capable of defeating IR capable threats. The predominant material of manufacture is Magnesium-Teflon-Viton flare. Option Year #2: MJU-32, USN/USMC, New Build, Up ! to 31,640; MJU-38, USN/USMC, New Build, Up to 31,640; MJU-32, USN/USMC, Upgrade, Up to 7,909; MJU-38, USN/USMC, Upgrade, Up to 7,909.
