- NOTICE! PRE-PROPOSAL SITE VISIT: Wednesday, Nov 5, 2008 at 9:00 a.m., Sandpoint, ID. Meet at the current Ranger District office, located at 1500 Hwy 2, Suite 110 (main office, ground floor) Sandpoint, approximately ˝ mile West of Sandpoint center. Please RSVP Mike Shoup at (208) 765-7204 with your intent to attend and provide any questions for which we can be sure to have answers at the meeting. Drawings are posted on FBO, however prints may be ordered from North Idaho Blueprints, (208) 664-4930 (Allen Scott) or Kinko's (208) 664-2880 (Michelle McMaster) or a CD may be requested from Mike Shoup at (208) 765-7204. This solicitation is FULL and OPEN competitive RFP for a new Ranger District office building, located on Forest Service property at 1602 Ontario Street in Sandpoint, Idaho. The 13,363 square foot, single story office building is designed to meet the Silver rating under the Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) Green Building Rating System™. Cost is estimated to be between $1,000,000 and $5,000,000. The tentative period of performance is estimated for December 31, 2008 to December 31, 2009 for immediate occupancy. A preproposal meeting and site visit, is announced here and in the solicitation. Solicitation is now available on this site with a due date of December 8, 2008.
