- This requisition is for conveyor kits for the CH-47, NSN: 3910-01-418-4823 in a quantity of 10 each. Sierra Army Depot intends to enter into a sole source contract with AAR Defense Products, 1100 N. Wood Dale Road, Wood Dale, IL 30191, for the conveyor kits. A justification for other than full and open competition has been prepared in support of this purchase. Authority 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), only one responsible source and no other supplies will satisfy agency requirements under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. Specifications are incomplete or not available and cannot be furnished by the Government. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit proposals. All responses and proposals are to be submitted in writing by fax to (530) 827-4722 or by email to megan.m.barr@us.army.mil by October 30, 2008 5:00 PM EST. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
