- This is a request for proposal for Egyptian Air Force (EAF) T56Engine Breakout Kits. Qualified Contractors are requested to provide a complete, fully substantiated proposal, in accordance with FAR 15.408, Table 15-2, and the Statement of Need. A Firm-Fixed Price (FFP) contract is anticipated. The Statement of Need (Atch 1), Contract Data Requirements Lists (Atch2), and Model Contract (Atch 3) are attached for your use in building your proposal.As part of the proposal, the Contractor is requested to submit separate prices and substantiation for each Contract Line Item Number (CLIN) as provided in the attached Model Contract (Atch 3).The subject effort meets one of the exceptions for providing Certified Cost or Pricing Data under the Truth in Negotiations Act. However; the Government must have adequate information for evaluating the reasonableness of the price. The fact that a price is included in a catalog does not, in and of itself, make it fair and reasonable. Thereby, the Contractor may be requested to submit information other than cost or pricing data that is adequate to determine a fair and reasonable price.You are cautioned that until a contract is executed any effort performed in support of the anticipated effort is performed strictly at your own risk and expense.The contractor shall submit one (1) electronic copy of the proposal and two (3) hard copies not later than COB, 17 Nov 2008.
