- McAlester Army Ammunition Plant, Bldg 8, 1 C Tree Road, McAlester OK, 74501 Description: This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial services prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement is notification that a written solicitation has been issued and offers are being accepted. Solicitation, W44W9M-09-T-0002, is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-22. This solicitation is a total set aside for Small Business procurement. The associated SIC code is 4959, NAICS code is 562910. McAlester Army Ammunition Plant (MCAAP), McAlester, OK, 74501, has a requirement for Mold and Asbestos Remediation Services. The tasks and descriptions pertaining to these services are listed in Solicitation W44W9M-09-T-0002 located on the Army Single Face to Industry website: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/solicitation_search_form.cfm Prospective vendors are urged to attend the pre-quote site visit which will be conducted on Wednesday, October 29th, 2008 beginning at 1:00 PM, CST. You must register to attend the site visit by sending your name and the name of the company you represent no later than 12:00 PM, CST, October 28th, 2008 to Mr. Kent Hackett, kent.w.hackett@us.army.mil FAR provisions and clauses cited in this solicitation may be accessed through the internet at http://www.arnet.gov/far/. Offerors are directed to the solicitation provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors--Commercial Items (JAN 2004), which applies to this acquisition and is hereby incorporated by reference. Offerors are reminded to include a completed copy of the provision at 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications--Commercial Items (JAN 2004) with their offer. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. The clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions--Commercial Items (OCT 2003), is hereby incorporated by reference. The clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders--Commercial Items (Apr 2004), is hereby incorporated by reference. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt may render the quote non-responsive and result in rejection.
