- ONLY WRITTEN REQUESTS FOR COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL BE HONORED. IMPORTANT: TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL NOT BE HONORED. The contractor shall provide all supervision, materials, equipment, tools, and transportation to refinish the concrete floor of the Dry Goods Storage section of Bldg #27; prepare and fill existing floor cracks, approximately 700 lineal feet; removal of existing joint filler and apply new expansion joint filler, approximately 100 lineal feet; apply coat(s) of non-slip sealer system to exposed floor surface, approximately 9500 sqft; demo existing concrete slab on grade and install new concrete approximately 900 sqft, IAW the SCOPE OF WORK. The project is located at the USCG, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. Contractor will be selected based on the lowest price technically accepted. All responsible sources that submit a written quotation will be considered. GOVERNMENT FURNISHED MATERIALS: None Performance Period is 45 days. Work to be performed by: SUBMITTALS DUE UPON AWARD includes but is not limited to: manufacturer’s printed instructions including preparation instructions, detailed mixing and application procedures, number and types of coats required, minimum and maximum application temperatures and curing procedures. Include MSDS sheets for all products/materials to be used on the job.., in addition to references and qualifications. Lack of adequacy of references shall be at the sole discretion of the Government and may constitute grounds for disqualification. CONTRACTOR SHALL COMPLY WITH requirements of: applicable Coast Guard Safety Regulations, federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to water, air, and noise pollution. ADDITIONAL SPECIFICATIONS OR REQUIREMENTS ARE CONTAINED IN STATEMENT OF WORK THAT WILL BE INCLUDED WITH REQUEST FOR QUOTE DOCUMENTS WHEN THEY ARE ISSUED ON APPROXIMATELY NOV 03, 2008. A SITE VISIT WILL BE HELD NOV 19, 2008, APPROXIMATELY TWO WEEKS BEFORE QUOTE IS DUE. (Site visits are not mandatory, but are highly encouraged.) Location: U.S. Coast Guard, Integrated Support Command, Kodiak, Alaska. ESTIMATED PRICE RANGE IS $50,000 - $75,000.
