- SOLICITATION NOTICE FOR CONSTRUCTION SERVICES. Services are required for site-work, installation of utility infrastructures and construction of three complete, usable and visually uniform facilities. The first facility is a specially designed single story 52,280 SF Armed Forces Reserve Center (AFRC). The AFRC Building will be a steel frame with Insulated Concrete Form (ICF) exterior constructed walls with brick wainscot and metal panel walls, concrete floors, standing seam metal roof, with mechanical, electrical, direct digital communication and fire protection equipment. Functional areas include assembly hall, classrooms, library, training and storage areas, kitchen, administrative areas, arms vault, restrooms, locker rooms, simulator firing range. Outside supporting facilities include rigid and flexible payment vehicle parking areas, sidewalks, exterior fire protection, outside lighting, access roads, detached facility sign and flagpole. The second facility is a 30,040 SF specially designed single story pre-engineered metal Field Maintenance Shop (FMS) building having custom attributes such as exterior metal panel and brick wainscot walls matching the existing AFRC, concrete floors, standing seam metal roof with mechanical, electrical, direct digital communication and fire protection equipment. Functional areas include maintenance work-bays, administrative, storage, latrine areas, break area, POL (petroleum, oil, and lubricants), storage and 15 ton crane. Supporting facilities include rigid and flexible payment military vehicle parking, fencing, wash platform, lube & inspection rack, control waste handling facility, sidewalks, outside lighting, and access roads, and wash platform. The third facility is a 2,385 SF single story pre-engineered unheated single story cold storage building having custom attributes such as exterior metal panel and brick wainscot walls matching the existing AFRC and FMS buildings, concrete floors, standing seam metal roof, with mechanical, electrical, direct digital communication and fire protection equipment. Energy management control systems, high efficiency motors, lighting, and HVAC systems will be incorporated throughout the facilities. Project construction shall meet LEED Silver Rating as developed by the US Green Building Council. Technical questions should be directed to LTC Laura Monteith at 614-336-7266. Total estimate for this project is between $10,000,000 and $25,000,000. This procurement is Small Business Set-Aside. The Standard Industrial Classification (SIC) Code is 1542. The applicable Small Business size standard including affiliates is no more than $31.0 Million average annual revenue for the previous three years. Plans and specifications will be available for inspection without charge at 2811 W Dublin-Granville Rd, Columbus, Ohio in the Purchasing and Contracting Office.
