- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. Request for Quotation (RFQ) number W25G1V-08-T-0513 applies. Simplified acquisition procedures at FAR Part 13.5 are being used. This document and incorporated provisions and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular Fac 2005-27. NAICS 334515, criteria of 500 employees. Tobyhanna Army Depot intends to award a sole source contract to Comtech Systems, Inc., 2900 Titan Row, Ste 142, Orlando, FL 32809 for the following: Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0001: Furnish and deliver One (1) Each CS6716 Modem Upgrade Hot Bench (MUHB) Hot Mock-Up Kit, P/N 304F004859-1, NSN 5895-NC-C63-8174 to include all documentation (operational, service, and calibration manuals). Contractor also to provide all hardware, software, cables, interconnects/fixtures, spare parts necessary for the Hot-Bench to be fully functional, and a full warranty for a minimum of one year. Contract Line Item (CLIN) 0002 OPTION LINE ONE: AN/TRC-170 Modem Upgrade Hot Bench (MUHB) Kit same as Line Item 0001. Option to be exercised within six (6) months of contract award or within thirty (30) days of receipt and acceptance of Line Item 0001, whichever is later. Acceptance and Delivery: FOB Destination, Tobyhanna Army Depot (TYAD), Tobyhanna, PA Delivery is 20 weeks after receipt of award. Comtech Systems is the manufacturer of the CS6716 MUHB and the CS6716 Modem Upgrade, a system for which Comtech holds specific proprietary rights. Comtech is the only known source capable of providing this item. There is no competitive technical data package available. Any firms believing that they can provide the required item should contact the Contract Specialist identified. Requirements: Pricing must be provided for all Clins. Quoters must address delivery and warranty requirements. Parties interested in responding to RFQ are requested to complete a Standard Form (SF)1449 (available at http://www.forms.gov ), blocks 5, 12, 17a, 17b (as appropriate), 19 thru 24, 30a, b, and c; the quote must be signed by a company official authorized to contractually bind the company. Quoters shall include and complete the full text provision FAR 52.209-5 Certification Regarding Responsibility Matters, FAR 52.212-3 ALT I (Offeror Representations and Certifications --Commercial services), completely filled out, as well as DFARS 252.212-7000, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial services).
