- The Internal Revenue Service, Midstates Procurement Branch intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with DLT Solutions, Inc., 13861 Sunrise Valley Drive, Suite 400, Herndon, Virginia under GSA Schedule Contract No. GS-35F-4543G for maintenance of Quest software. The Quest InTrust Tier A per Managed Server will be referenced on the order as Open Market service based upon FAR 8.402(f). This software is used to maintain the IRS current Wintel environment, provide security reports, server consolidation and the migration activities to the Active Directory Environment. This notice is neither a request for quote nor a solicitation of offers. Based on this requirement the Government will solicit and negotiate with one source under the authority of FAR 8.405-6(a) (2). A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed requirement, on a full and open competitive basis upon receipt of responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. No formal solicitation package is available. Only written responses will be accepted and must be received within three (3) calendar days of the date of this notice. The Government will not be responsible for any costs in the preparation of responses to this announcement.
