Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. The solicitation W911S708T0648 is posted on the ASFI website at https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/ for your review. Strong Bonds Training is a Chaplain-led program to assist Soldiers on active duty and their immediate Family members, and members of reserve components in an active status and their immediate Family members, in building and maintaining a strong family structure, to include single Soldiers. This BPA is for five years from 15 October 2008 through 30 September 2013. Approximately twenty (20) training sessions per year for an approximate total of one hundred (100) training sessions to be conducted during the 5-year time frame. The quantities provided in each of the CLINS are estimated to reflect what is expected to be provided during one 3-day event. The BPA will be reviewed annually. The Vendor shall furnish single and double occupancy accommodation, as requested by an authorized Ordering Officer, as authorized by the Contracting Officer. The Ordering Officer will contact the hotel to coordinate/reserve the required accommodations. Approximate number of rooms (to include conference room, equipment, meals, and childcare) will be provided approximately 30 to 45 days prior to the training session. Actual arrival and departure dates and times will be specified upon time of reservation. The point of contact will also be given at the time the reservation is made. The Vendor shall make every effort possible to provide rooms in accordance with an individuals smoking or other preference.
