- The Second Annual C4ISR Transformation and Fusion Government and IndustryConference will be held at the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center (SPAWARSYSCEN) Atlantic, Charleston, South Carolina, 18-20 November 2008. The event is sponsored by the Charleston Defense Contractors Association, in cooperation with SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantic. The conference will focus on advancing the Government-Industry partnership, with emphasis on current and future initiatives and challenges. Plan on hearing the perspectives of prominent government and industry speakers, the presentation of technical papers, interactive workshops, roundtable events, and evening receptions offering networking opportunities and generous food and beverage servings. As part of the Conference Agenda, on the afternoon of 20 November 2008, SPAWARSYSCEN Atlantics Contracting Department will host an Industry Forum. The Industry Forum will present contract-related topics such as: Doing Business with SPAWAR, Small Business Strategies, Small Business Subcontracting Plans, Organizational Conflicts of Interest, etc. The Forum will also include a networking session with various Contracting Department personnel, along with a question and answer session. In order to make the question and answer session as informative as possible, attendees are requested to submit any general, procurement-related questions you may have to Mrs. Crystal Potts, e-mail: crystal.potts@navy.mil, by COB Friday, 31 OCT 2008. ACT NOW Early Registration ends 17 OCT 2008. Conference dress is business casual. In addition, special hotel rate information is available.
