- This is a Request for Information ONLY. There is no solicitation package available. The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD), Special Communications Requirements, St. Inigoes, is seeking sources to make a determination for this Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity contract, which may be capable of producing Baseband Equipment in support of NAWCAD. The NAWCAD contracting office has a requirement for multiple companies to supply Baseband equipment. The supplier should be able to provide any or all of the following Baseband equipment: 1. Network Appliances 2. Modems 3. Routers 4. Encoder/Decoder 5. Accelerator 6. Security Appliances 7. Switches 8. Test Equipment * See attachment for specifications for each of the above items. The Government is looking for potential sources for this requirement. Vendors can additionally provide a capabilities statement of no more than five pages in length that demonstrates the respondents ability to meet the requirements specified herein. The Government is also interested in receiving commercial published price lists for items they believe meet the need of this RFI. All interested parties should send company’s capability and/or descriptive literature as well as any comments or questions to Alan McCarty, email: Alan.McCarty@navy.mil or phone: 732-323-2869. All responses should be received no later than 4:00 PM EST, 13 NOV 2008. All questions and comments must be in writing, no telephone calls, email is acceptable. All contractors seeking award must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration (CCR) database. For CCR information, contact the CCR Registration Assistance Center (RAC) at 888-227-2423 or for CCR registration at: http://www.ccr.dlis.dla.mil. The Government will not pay for any information received in response to this request, nor will the Government compensate any respondent for any costs incurred in developing the information provided to the Government. Failure to respond to this RFI does not preclude participation in any future associated RFP that may be issued. The NAICS code is 334290 and the FSC code is 5895.
