- It is the intent of NAVAIR Orlando Training Systems Division, Orlando, FL to solicit and award a sole source FFP purchase order to Allied Conventions Services, Inc DBA Brede Expositions Services (Brede-Allied), (2502 Lake Orange Dr., Orlando, Florida) under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304 (d) (1) (b), set forth in FAR 6302-1 titled, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. NAVAIR TSD Orlando has a requirement to support the Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education (I/ITSEC), a Conference to be held from December 1st, 2008 to December 4th, 2008 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. The I/ITSEC Conference promotes cooperation among the Armed Services, Industry, Academia and various Government agencies in pursuit of improved training and education programs, identification of common training issues and development of multiservice programs. This sole source award is based on the fact that this is a unique international annual conference for simulation and training with a single entity (Allied-Brede) accepting and handling all the equipment of materials rentals for exhibit structures. Interested firms may submit their capabilities and qualifications to the identified point of contact not later than 30 October 2008 at 2:00 P.M. eastern time. Submission of such capabilities and qualifications does not represent any intent from the government to compete and/or award to any company other than Brede/Allied. This is not a request for quotes, and this notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. No solicitation document exists at this time, and any information submitted is for informational purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government to procure any services, or for the government to pay for the information received.
