- This solicitation is for the furnishing and installation of a Motorola Smartnet Voting System at Sierra Army Depot. As a result of this solicitation, Sierra Army Depot intends to award a firm fixed price contract. In accordance with FAR 52.232-18, funds are not presently available for this contract. The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriated funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government for any payment may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer. The Service Contract Act will be applicable. This procurement is being solicited as unrestricted. The North American Industrial Classification Code (NAICS) is 334220. All responsible sources may submit a quote, which shall be considered. The anticipated posting of this solicitation is October 16, 2008. All contractual and technical questions must be submitted in writing and may be faxed to (530) 827-4722 or emailed to megan.m.barr@us.army.mil. No telephone questions will be accepted. Notification of any postponements and any amendments to this solicitation will only be posted on this website.
