Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT SYNOPSIS ONLY; THERE WILL BE NO AWARD MADE FROM THIS DOCUMENT. The Mission and Installation Contracting Command (MICC) at Fort Lewis, WA is seeking information regarding available contractors to provide services as follows: CLIN 0001: Disassembly and Re-Assembly of the Stanley Vidmar Modula P-750 VLM. Includes disassembly of a Stanley Vidmar Modula P-750 VLM from current location in Bldg 3036 and movement to building 3025 and re-erection (approximately 300 yards away). Also required is field modification to remove a 1.5 meter section to fit into a shorter building. Contractor shall be responsible for all supervision and regular labor of disassembly of the current system in building 3036, providing dedicated forklifts and scissors lift of sufficient height to disassemble and reassemble the system, provide all necessary dollies, skids, packaging and banding materials, package and crate materials as necessary, transport the system components from building 3036 to building 3025, unpacking the system, modifying the system, re-erecting the system in building 3025 and calibrating the system to ensure it functions properly and apply a 90 day warranty. Government will be responsible for unloading their inventory prior to disassembly, transporting it to the new location and reloading upon completion of re-erection; providing clear avenues for movement; providing a broom lean, clear staging and assembly site with necessary utilities to perform work and relocation of the disconnect; material and labor for wiring from an identical power source into the disconnect; and assuring that a clear height of 31 exists at the proposed new site location. Quotes will be based upon performing these services during normal working hours, five days per week (Saturday, Sunday and Holidays excluded except at vendors discretion), and is based on an unrestricted, continuous operation free of work stoppages. The applicable NAICS code is 337214. This Notification closes 24 October 2008 at 3:00 PM Pacific Daylight Savings Time.
