- This request for information (RFI) builds upon the previous sources sought, AFSPC-A7KI-0002, titled Air Force Space Command High Efficiency Street and Parking Lot Fixture Program. The purpose of this RFI is to have industry address potential risks, how to mitigate those risks, suggest a contract type, line item structure, and commercial terms and conditions. There is no solicitation at this time. A pre-solicitation notice will be synopsized prior to issuing any resulting solicitation. Air Force Space Command (AFSPC), in order to meet the energy reduction requirements of the Energy Policy Act of 2005, the Energy Independence and Security Act of 2007, and Executive Order 13423, is contemplating an energy saving street and parking lot light fixture replacement program focusing on new and innovative technologies (Light Emitting Diodes, Induction,...). The focus of this program is on AFSPC installations nationwide and potential expansion of the program to all USAF installations. Please email your comments to the primary and alternate POC listed in this RFI. Please call if there are specific questions regarding the information requested in this RFI. The applicable NAICS codes are 238210 and 335129. Small Business size standards are $13 million for 238210 with a PSC of N059 and 500 employees for 335129 with an FSC of 6210. All responsible sources are encouraged to complete the attached Questionnaire that may be submitted via email to Mr. Jamey Ciesielski or Captain Michael Kussavage at jamey.ciesielski@peterson.af.mil and michael.kussavage@peterson.af.mil. When available, the resultant pre-solicitation notice and solicitation will be posted at this website. This RFI is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government nor will the Government pay for information solicited. No basis for claim against the Government shall arise as a result from a response to this RFI or Government use of any information provided.
