- Description
- The Naval Air Systems Command, Patuxent River, MD intends to negotiate and award a sole-source, Time and Materials delivery order under Basic Ordering Agreement N00421-06-G-0006 with Rockwell Collins of Cedar Rapids, Iowa to complete software maintenance of established Communications, Navigation Surveillance/Air Traffic Management (CNS/ATM) Common Cockpit Systems. This effort will provide the correction of software problems in the existing fielded software to include analysis of the software problems, design and implementation of corrections, testing and documentation of the revised software. Tasks to be accomplished within the scope of this contract shall include providing technical support during Flight testing, correcting problem reports discovered during Flight Testing, producing and delivering Flight Qualified Operational Flight Programs, producing and delivering updates to documentation as required. The first target OFP will be the P3 CNS/ATM OFP The authority permitting other than full and open competition is Title 10, U.S. Code 2304(c)(1), as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The estimated period of performance begins at contract award date and ends 12 months afterward. Numbered Note 22 applies.
