Description

The US Coast Guard, Maintenance and Logistics Command, Atlantic intends to issue a sole source purchase order with The Trane Company (c/o Damuth Trane) for the purchase of a total of 26 Fan Coil Air Conditioning units, with dual drain stainless steel condensate trays, 2 ea Trane Model B22A002, 4 ea Trane Model B22D002, 1 ea Model FCBB0201KY, 1 ea Trane Model FCBB020CY, 2 ea Trane Model FCBB0201JY, 3 ea Trane Model FCBB0401JY, 2 ea Trane Model D26A004, 2 ea Trane Model B22A003, 6 ea Trane Model FCBB0601JY, 1 ea Trane Model FCBB0601CCT, 2 ea Trane Model B26A003. Award will be made in accordance with FAR 6.320-1(a)(2)(iii). Only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. The Trane Company is the original manufacturer and posses the necessary proprietary data to provide these items. The requirement will be awarded using Simplified Acquisition procedures per FAR 13. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes. However, the government will consider all information received within 5 days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A Determination by the Government not to compete as a result of quotes received is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For information concerning the acquisition, contact Mr. Douglas G.
