- Description
- Mount Rainier National Park, Ashford, WA 98304, is seeking sources available that can supply heavy duty tire chains to be used on two different sized Steward Stevens snow blowers. One is series 1000 and the other is the 1250 series. The type of chains are known as web chains or non skid chains with clids or bars welded for traction and extended wear. 8.2 to 9.0 mm minimum chain thickness and must fit wheel sizes: (1) 14.5 x 20 (2) 14.75 x 20. The park is looking for one set of (4) four for each tire size. If you have these types of tire chains available, please provide information on what you have to: joann_palmer@nps.gov. Please include the cost per each set for each size and availability or lead time. Price should be FOB destination, Longmire, WA 98397. The possibility of a solicitation being issued will depend on the information received by close of business 10/15/2008.
