- Description
- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division (NAWCAD) intends to procure, on a non-competitive basis from Value Tronics Int’l Inc, reconditioned equipment that is operationally verified. The procurement will include NIST traceable calibration and certification. The components to be procured, which are not readily available in the marketplace, are required to complete the set of CASS calibration standards at NAWCAD Lakehurst to include the following: Fluke Model 5790A (or alternate Wavetek 4920M) AC Measurement Standard, 732B Reference Standard Calibration to 1.018V, Fluke Model 6060B with option 488 Signal Generator, Agilent Model 8902A (or alternate Agilent 8901B) Measuring Receiver. The authority for this sole source action is FAR 6.302-1: only one responsible source. These components are part of a highly integrated set of hardware, software, and written procedures that have undergone extensive rigorous testing prior to their approval as authorized CASS calibration standards. The use of unauthorized alternate items is not acceptable except as noted. A determination by the Government not to open this requirement to competition based on the responses received to this synopsis is solely within the discretion of the Government. This is not a request for competitive proposals; however, all responses to this notice must be received within 15 days.
