Description
The Regional Contracting Office, Marine Corps Base Hawaii (MCBH) has a requirement for a contractor to provide all labor, supervision, transportation for the pick-up and disposal of used oil in above ground storage tanks (ASTS) at the following locations: BHWAS 3 each 500 gallon tanks to be emptied once a month (estimated 1,500 gallons per month), Other Waste Storage (OWS) various tanks totaling 500 gallons (estimated) per pick-up to be emptied twice per year. Chlor-D-Tech testing to be done per every pump out (estimated 42 kits per year), f.o.b. destination. The contract shall be for a one-year base period of on or about 16 October 2008 through 30 September 2009 with four Option Periods. The contractor is required to comply with Marine Corps Directives and all federal, state, and local Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) rules, regulations, and laws as they pertain to the proper handling, pick-up and disposal of used oil. A single award will result from the solici! tation. This requirement is reserved for small businesses. Quantities are estimates and not guaranteed. Quoter must pick-up the used oil onsite within the periods specified. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) number is M00318-09-T-0148. This NAICS and the small business size standard for this procurement is 562211 and 12.5 million respectively. The anticipated contract will be a firm fixed-price contact. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible quoter whose quote conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price and past performance considered.
