- The purpose of Modification 0001 to Sources Sought Notice N00178-08-Q-1910 is to revise the response date from 31 October 2008 to 17 October 2008 and provide answers to the following questions received in response to the Sources Sought Notice: QUESTION:Did a contractor or vendor fulfill the same or similar work in the past? Or are there pre-existing contracts that provide the same or similar work? ANSWER:Similar work was competed for and awarded under contract N00178-05-C-1005. There are no pre-existing contracts that provide the same or similar work. QUESTION:If there is a previous or current contract, what is the contract number, contractor, contract value, and expiration? ANSWER:The work was performed by Symbionics, Incorporated under contract N00178-05-C-1005 with a total contract ceiling of $739,003.66, which expired on 31 December 2007. QUESTION:Is there a list of potential teaming partners, or primes seeking subcontractors? ANSWER:No. QUESTION:What delivery schedule is preferred after contract award? ANSWER:Anticipate initial delivery by the end of FY 2009. QUESTION:Will a possible set aside for small business be considered? ANSWER:This determination has not been made. QUESTION:Do you intend to have a bidders conference? ANSWER: This determination has not been made. QUESTION:What specifically is meant by the requirement for STANAG 4586 and JAUS V3.3 with regard to radio communications and specific messaging? ANSWER:STANAG 4586 is required for all future UAS ground station efforts within DoD, and JAUS is required for other Unmanned Systems, therefore, compliancy to these standards is required. QUESTION:Does the five page limit for capability statements include or exclude a cover page? ANSWER:The five page limit excludes a cover page. QUESTION:Are brochures allowed in addition to the five page limit, or are they a part of the same five page limit? ANSWER:Brochures are allowed in addition to the five page capability statements.
