- Description
- The Office of Naval Research (ONR) has a requirement to procure three (3) ISS Proventia Network IPS GS4004-C (Fail Open, 4 TX-Copper Protected Ports) – Part Number ISS-GS4004-C-1-P and three (3) Proventia Maintenance for GS4004-C-1-P (Support) – Part Number ISS-GX4004-C-1-P-M). The Government intends to issue an Order in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13 entitled “Simplified Acquisition Procedures”. The Order will contain two (2) contract line items (CLINs). The Contractor shall deliver CLIN 0001 (Proventia Network IPS GS4004-C) no later than fourteen (14) days after contract award. Under CLIN 0002, the Contractor shall provide Proventia Maintenance Support from the effective date of contract through twelve (12) months thereafter. The Government is also seeking to purchase two (2) additional years of Proventia Maintenance Support. If exercised, under CLIN 0003, the Contractor shall provide Proventia Maintenance Support from the effective date of contract through twelve (12) months thereafter. If exercised, under CLIN 0004, the Contractor shall provide Proventia Maintenance Support from the effective date of contract through twelve (12) months thereafter. Any Offeror who deviates from the Government’s requirement should provide an explanation in their quote package. An Order will be awarded to the responsible Offeror whose offer represents the best value to the Government. The Contract Specialist must receive any questions concerning the RFQ no later than three (3) business days before the response date of this solicitation. Any quotes received by the closing date and time will be considered by the Government. Responses to this Notice should be submitted to Mr. Tysenn at Anthony.tysenn@navy.mil by 2:00PM (Eastern Standard Time) on Tuesday, 14 October 2008. Any responses received after the closing date and time will be treated as a late submission.
