- **PLEASE NOTE - This notice replaces the previous Presolicitation Notice for Solicitation Number W52P1J-08-R-0162 for the items listed below. Accordingly, the ESTIMATED solicitation issue date remains 10 October 2008.** The US Army Sustainment Command (ASC) intends to issue Request for Proposal (RFP) W52P1J-09-R-0003. This RFP is for a Foreign Military Sales (FMS) requirement for various types of Non-Standard Ammunition (NSA) for the Republic of Iraq. Proposed contract is for a firm-fixed price contract with a 100% option for the requirements listed below. Detailed specifics of the technical and quality requirements will be provided in the solicitation. The response date listed above is for archive purposes only and is NOT the date in which offers are due. The date offers are due will not be issued until the solicitation is issued. ESTIMATED solicitation issue date is 10 October 2008. This is an estimated date only and may be subject to change. This solicitation will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.502 and 5.102(a)(1); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the Army Single Face to Industry (ASFI) Website at the following address via the internet: https://acquisition.army.mil/asfi/. CAUTION: This solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Because of this, the Government is under no obligation and is in fact unable to maintain a bidders mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for bid opening/receipt of proposals may render your bid or proposal nonresponsive and result in the rejection of same.
