Description
This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. The solicitation number is HSCG28-09-Q-7P1AAK. Applicable North American Industry Classification Standard (NAICS) code is 561720, size standard is $16.5. The contract will be awarded using simplified acquisition procedures in accordance with FAR 13. Specifications: Contractor shall provide all labor, equipment and cleaning supplies to clean six (6) area buildings and a fitness center located at Coast Guard Sector Jacksonville. The contractor shall thoroughly clean and sanitize, toilets, sinks, showers, walls and clean all windows. Vacuum all carpeted hallways. Empty all trash and replace all trash liners. Cleaning main entrance, and main entrance doors and windows is required for the main building and the galley. All bathrooms are to be restocked with trash can liners, paper towels, toilet paper, and soap at each service. The Coast Guard will provide all bathroom-restocking supplies. Contractor will provide service with the least amount of disruption of working areas and personnel as possible. Details of specific work for each area involved are listed below: 1) MAIN BUILDING FIRST AND SECOND FLOORS: Bathrooms, Main Entrance, Hallways and Stairways 2) CONFERENCE ROOM: Meeting room and Bathrooms 3) GALLEY HALLWAY: Hallways and Bathrooms 4) FITNESS CENTER: First and Second floors 5) ENGINEERING FACILITY: Bathrooms 6) CUTTER SUPPORT TEAM BUILDING: Bathrooms FREQUENCY Five days per week Monday thru Friday. All floors, corners, behind doors, stairways, landing and stoops. - Spot cleaning: A surface adequately spot cleaned is free of all stains, deposits, and is substantially free of cleaning marks. - Scrubbing or wet mopping: Scrubbing or wet mopping is satisfactorily completed when all surfaces are without imbedded dirt, stains, deposits, debris, cleaning solution, film debris stains and marks. - Rug cleaning: A vacuumed rug shall be free of all loose dirt, dust, and debris. - Bathrooms: Thoroughly clean and sanitize toilets, urinals, sinks, and showers. Toilets shall be scrubbed and free of dirt, debris, stains and odor. Toiled seats will be cleaned and sanitized on all surfaces. All chrome-plated fixtures will be rinsed or wiped clean of cleaning product after cleaning to avoid corrosion of dirt and streaks. Walls, partitions, shelving, and window ledges will be free of dirt, stains and debris. Sweeping and mopping using the appropriate cleaners is required.
