Description
THIS SYNOPSIS UPDATES A PREVIOUSLY ISSUED SYNOPSIS ISSUED UNDER RFPNUMBER N66001-08-R-0125. THE NEW RFP NUMBER IS N66001-09-R-0014. The original synopsis is re-issued in it's entirety. The Space and Naval Warfare Systems Center Pacific (SSC PACIFIC) intends toissue Request for Proposal (RFP) No. N66001-09-R-0014 (FORMALLY N66001-08-R-0125) for technical and security engineering services in support ofAssured Computer and Network Operations. The proposed contract willencompass an array of security engineering, technical, managerial and logisticssupport, certification and accreditation, IA related tasking. This broadtechnical area of support will require specialized security engineeringservices toperform architecture design, analysis, test, user training, certification, COTS/GOTS security product analysis and evaluation, product integration andimplementation, specialized network configuration and sustainment supportfunctions including those for the current and follow-on generation of securitydevices/products used in Naval networks. In addition, this requirementsupports integrated circuit design and test for analog, digital and radiofrequency applications. This proposed contract has security requirements at theTop Secret with SCI access. This contract will be for Cost Plus Fixed Fee,Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity, Engineering Services with five yearbaseperiod with the potential of four (4) nine (9) month award term periods (forpotential maximum contract period of eight (8) years). The estimated level ofeffort is 331,776 hours for the entire potential performance period. Largebusinesses are encouraged to form joint ventures with small businesses. TheNorth American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 541512 and theSmall Business Size Standard $25M. The estimated released date for thesolicitation is anticipated by 06 OCTOBER 2008 and response will be due 30days thereafter. The solicitation will only be available electronically.Electroniccopies of the RFP may be obtained from the SPAWAR E-Commerce website athttps://e-commerce.sscno.nmci.navy.mil under SSC San Diego "OpenSolicitations". Hard copy versions of the RFP and any subsequentamendments will not be available. Firms are encouraged to review the websiteregularly for important solicitation information.
