- This is a notice of intent that the Social Security Administration (SSA) intends to issue a “limited source” purchase order under Simplified Acquisition procedures to the State of Nebraska to provide for compressed video teleconferencing room systems and network usage for the SSA Office of Disability Adjudication and Review (ODAR). The State of Nebraska’s Video Conferencing Network (NVCW) will provide the services.. This connection will allow ODAR to use the NVCW transport services and 35 remote sites (classrooms) within the State of Nebraska to deliver high quality citizen-centered services. This is a notice of intent and a solicitation will not be issued. SSA will not respond to requests for solicitation copies and will not pay for information received in response to this announcement. Responses must provide sufficient information for SSA to determine that a firm other than the NVCN can provide the above services. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed order based upon responses to this notice is at the sole discretion of the Government.
